Technical Assistance for Strengthening Municipal Management in Human Resources, Taxation, Public Finances and ICT in 22 Municipalities of the Provinces of Niassa, Zambézia, Sofala and Gaza in Mozambique
Within the framework of the decentralization process, the Government of Mozambique, with the support of the World Bank, Linpico implemented the Urban and Local Development Project (PDUL), coordinated by the Ministry of State Administration and Public Service (MAEFP). In addition to the MAEFP, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources also participated as partners in the PDUL.
The implementation of the activities involved 24 experts, working in the four intervention Provinces (Gaza, Niassa, Sofala and Zambézia and a core team in Maputo.
Linpico is proud to have contributed to improving the performance of municipal management and increasing the collection of own source revenues by municipalities in Mozambique.
