Linpico is proud to announce that we are now providing EViews training to the Macro Fiscal Group in Sierra Leone. The overall objective is to build capacity among authorities of the Macro Fiscal Group in the use of the Sierra Leone Integrated Macroeconomic Model (SLIMM). Training started on 11Th August 2025 for MFSG participants in the preparation of macroeconomic policy notes based on various scenarios derived from the model.
The SLIMM model remains critical for macroeconomic management, planning as well as budgeting purposes in Sierra Leone. The model has undergone various revisions including the update of the data and developing an Eviews backend to do the computation of the model.
