Linpico is proud to highlight its role in driving sustainable change through the AFD-funded project in Mauritius: Development of comprehensive guidelines and capacity building on green budgeting and tagging. This initiative supports the Government of Mauritius in adopting green budgeting practices by developing national guidelines, training key ministries—including the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development—and empowering stakeholders with the tools and knowledge needed to align budgets with environmental goals. Through capacity-building workshops, a dedicated training-of-trainers program, and the establishment of forums for high policy level development and implementation, we are working towards a future where public finance supports a greener, more resilient Mauritius.
