Final Dissemination Seminar for the Evaluation of EU Support to Private Sector Development in North Macedonia

On July 3, 2025, Linpico’s Evaluation Team successfully organized the Final Dissemination Seminar for the Evaluation of EU Support to Private Sector Development in North Macedonia. The primary objective of this evaluation was to deliver an independent and comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of EU-funded interventions aimed at fostering private sector development in the country. The evaluation examined how well these initiatives aligned with their original objectives and the extent to which they contributed to measurable economic outcomes.

The seminar, taking place in Skopje, served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, bringing together key stakeholders such as representatives from the European Union Delegation, implementing partners including GIZ and EBRD, as well as officials from the Ministry of Economy, various inspectorates, the Bureau of Metrology, chambers of commerce, and beneficiary companies. In total, 20 participants attended the event.

Following the presentation of the evaluation findings, participants engaged in constructive discussions on several critical topics. These included identifying priorities for future interventions, addressing the specific needs of the private sector, and exploring effective strategies to promote sustainable economic growth. Additionally, participants shared lessons learned and examples of good practice from ongoing and past projects, highlighting how these insights can inform the design and implementation of future EU-supported programs.
